Tourism around the Principality of Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein lies in a wonderful area in the world, with its spectacular mountain scenery. The neighbouring countries also enjoy such a wealth of landscape, and thanks to having been at the centre of human habitation for thousands of years, also provides a wealth of history for visitors to explore.

The castle of Sargans, now a restuarantNeighbouring towns are 'protected' by castles - Schattenburg in Feldkirch and the castle in Sargans both now housing restaurants, and Werdenberg in Buchs houses a museum, and is surrounded by the living museum of the town of Werdenberg - one of Switzerland's oldest and best preserved mediaeval towns.

The mountains are obviously part of this wonderful scenery, but also provide an objective for an outing. This section will list the sights in neighbouring countries - just click on the country name, but without any commentary on the sights - these are covered by other websites.
