Liechtenstein Buses operate a very cheap and reliable service, with the following tariffs:

Short Trip - 2.00CHF
Zone 1 - 2.80CHF
Zone 2 - 3.50CHF
Zone 3 - 4.80CHF
Zone 4 - 6.40CHF
Zone 5 - 7.80CHF
Zone 6 - 9.40CHF
All Zones - 11.40CHF

You can also get very reasonable season tickets, even as a tourist (2015 prices for all zones, other tickets available).

Daily pass - 23.60CHF
Weekly pass - 50.00CHF
Monthly pass - 100.00CHF
Annual pass - 370.00CHF

Many of the buses will wait at the railway stations, and bus stations for connections, so even if you are slightly late arriving at your junction, you are unlikely to be stranded.
