The Liechtenstein Alps
The Liechtenstein Alps are not the highest in the alpine chain, but they are majestic, and a beautiful region. The mountains account for about 80% of the land area of Liechtenstein.
The highest point is the Grauspitz, at 2,599m (8,543 ft), but there are about 24 recognised peaks lying over 2,000m above sea level. To enjoy this wealth of high ground, there are over 160km (100 miles) of waymarked paths throughout the alpine region, appealing to all levels of walker.
